Well done!
Only for last September, we would normally say soeng6 nin2 gau2 yut6 上年九月 (last year September)
And I would like to know why you didn't add zo2 for question no. 12? It's not wrong, that's why I want to know the reasoning of your choice.
When we started the exercise together, I had noted (and underlined!) that zo2 左 is used for a one time action, and also that I had used it for questions 3 (living in Vancouver) and 4 (must go to work) and then crossed it out when corrected in class. So I guessed that I could omit it for questions 9 and 12, especially since it goes after the verb and I wouldn't have been sure where to place it without it being awkward ≧ ͜ ≦
So, I'd say both are correct for no. 12. When you put zo2, the moving is being emphasized. If you omit it, it's being used more like «imparfait» in French, we would expect some more details coming after that sentence.
